Click
here for information on the Advanced Open Water Diver Course - $185 ($25 a
dive, $25 for certification card and $35 for the Adventures in Diving Manual). If you
already have done an adventure dive or dives, just pay for the dives you
need to complete the certification. Contact us for more
information.
What you will do:
-
You get to do five dives. One of
them has to be a Deep Dive (deeper than 60 feet) and one of them has to
be an Underwater Navigation Dive. You get to choose the remaining
3 dives. If you have done any adventure dives, all you need to do
is to show us the Adventure Dive Log Book Page. We can count those
dives toward the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification. We suggest for the remaining
three: Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery and one of
the following: Underwater Naturalist, Wreck or Night. Each
of the dives counts as Dive 1 of the corresponding specialty. For
example, the underwater navigation dive counts as Dive 1 of the
Underwater Navigation Specialty, a 3-dive specialty.
-
Read each chapter out of the Adventures in
Diving Manual for each dive of the five dives, complete the knowledge reviews located at the end of each chapter,
turn the knowledge reviews into us at lake weekend and dive the dives
under the supervision of an instructor. Easy and fund to do.
