Dallas, Texas and the Dallas Metroplex Area and scuba
diving trips to Cozumel and other scuba diving destinations. We
are PADI, EFR and Dan instructors located in the Old Lake
Highlands area of Dallas, Texas.

OPEN
WATER DIVER COURSE
- This is the course
for learning how to scuba dive. It is a
course for beginners.

Group Class starts September 20.The
Group Class is for students that want to or don't mind taking the

Classroom: September 20 and 21 starting at 9:30 a.m.
each day
Pool: Right after lunch break on September
20 and 21 in onsite pool
Lake Weekend to do the Open Water Dives:
September 27 and September 28 at Windy Point Lake Travis starting at 9:00 a.m. each day.
Cost: $350 All-inclusive -
covers everything you will need for the class except
mask, fins, snorkel and booties.

sign up for the class on-line. You need to be
at least 10 years old, in good health, reasonably fit
and complete a medical statement.

Deposit: $85.00 covers cost of Crew
Pak (manual, dive table, booklet on how to use dive
table, and log book pages) and video or DVD.
How long does it take: If
you have completed the class assignment described below,
classroom and pool are held from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
on each of September 20 and 21. The 4 open water dives
must be done over a two day period at a local scuba park
or lake. We usually start at 9:00 a.m. on each of
Saturday and Sunday on your scheduled lake weekend.
At the lake, you should be through by 3:00 p.m. or sooner each day.
What you will do: You will read the entire Open Water Diver
Manual (included in the course
price) and watch the entire video/DVD (included
in course price) prior to coming to the first classroom session. You will
attend classroom sessions covering 5 chapters (can be done in 2 sessions of 3 to
4 hours each); participate in 5 confined water dives done in a pool (can
be done in 2 sessions of 3 to 4 hours each); and participate in 4 open water dives done at an area lake/scuba
park or on a dive trip (must be done over a 2 day period).
Throughout the course, you’ll learn
about scuba diving,
including dive equipment and techniques. You do all of this while having fun!

Independent Study: You will need to read
the entire manual, complete the knowledge reviews located
at the end of each chapter and watch the entire video/dvd
prior to first class meeting. Since this class is
a Group Class intended for more than one student,
if a student comes to class and has not completed the
class assignment, the student may need to reschedule the
class and/or additional fees may apply.
