DAN Basic Life Support
CPR/First Aid Course
Topics covered: CPR/First Aid Class.
Initial assessment, airway management, breathing and
ventilation, circulation, including AED use, control of
bleeding, shock management, and ongoing assessment.
Information also covers care for adults and children.
CPR (1 and 2 rescuers) and use of bag valve mask (one
and two rescuers)

What you will do:
All you have to do is come to class.
The class is video led. There are two videos. We
show the video stopping the video after each skill,
demonstrate the skill to you and then let you practice
the skill. There is a skills review, scenario
practice and a final exam. Takes 6 to 8 hours.
Cost: $149
which includes a student handbook, a student reference
manual, a certification card, a DAN pocket
mask and use of the video, Adult CPR Manikin, Infant CPR
Manikin, Adult Rescue Manikin, Adult Bag Valve Mask,
Child Bag Valve Mask, Adult Suctioning Device - with
child-size catheter, Infant Suctioning Device, Assorted
Bandaging Materials, Oronasal Resuscitation Masks, Latex
or Non-Latex medical gloves, DAN Oxygen Unit and AED
Trainer during class.

student reference manual (included in course price).
