We offer PADI scuba diving lessons and specialty classes, CPR and First Aid classes, EFR Instructor level classes, DAN classes,  and DAN Instructor level classes in the Dallas, Texas and the Dallas Metroplex Area and scuba diving trips to Cozumel and other scuba diving destinations.  We are PADI, EFR and Dan instructors located in the Old Lake Highlands area of Dallas, Texas.

CPR/AED offered through Emergency First Response.

Creating Confidence to Care

CPR and AED training.   Learn what to do and in the order to do it.  You will learn how to recognize life-threatening problems, how to assess a scene, primary assessment, ABCD's of the Lifeline, Lay Rescuer CPR and Automated External Defibrillator Use. 

 First aid training is not included in this course.  If you are interested in CPR/First Aid, Click here for the CPR/First Aid Course.

Cost for CPR/AED Training:  $50 per person price includes Participant Manual, DVD, Training Bandage Pack, Personal Barriers (gloves and manikin face shields), Certification Card and instructor fees.  It also includes use of adult, child and infant manikins and an AED trainer during class.

Family pricing:  First person pays $50 (includes Participant Manual, DVD, Training Bandage Pack, Personal Barriers (gloves and manikin face shields), Certification Card and instructor fees) , each additional family members pays $25 (includes Participant Manual, DVD, Training Bandage Pack, Personal Barriers [gloves and manikin face shields], Certification Card and instructor fees).  The DVD is not included in $25 price.  We are assuming that family members can share a DVD.

How long does it take:  If you have read the manual and watched the DVD, class takes about 3 hours.

Who can take the course:  Anyone interested in learning CPR and AED use, or required to do so by local occupational laws or regulations, make take the Emergency First Response CPR and AED course.  There are no certification or licensure prerequisites.  There is no minimum age, except where specified by local law.  To participate, participants must have the ability to satisfactorily complete all course performance requirements ( knowledge development and practical applications).

Before you come to class:  Read the entire manual, complete the Chapter in Review Questions located at the end of each chapter and watch the entire DVD.

Classroom:  We will go over the Chapter in Review Questions located at the end of Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4, there will be a skill development session, scenario practice and a 12-question multiple choice final exam.
