What do you need to provide?
You
will need to provide your personal gear: a mask,
snorkel, fins and booties. Why? Because the mask
needs to fit your face, the fins and booties need to fit
your feet. We have put together a student gear
package which contains a mask, fins, snorkel, booties, a
mesh dive bag for you to carry your equipment, a slap
strap and dive log book for $225 (plus tax) if you want
to purchase your personal gear from us. You may
also purchase the items separately. Whatever you
want to do. It does not matter to us
where you purchase your personal gear.
You may purchase these items at any dive store.
The most important thing is that they fit you.
We recommend Aqua Adventures on Greenville Avenue or
Athens Scuba Park in Athens, Texas.
You will also want to bring a a towel and a swimsuit.
Camping items if you are going to camp at lake weekend.. Maybe some
sunscreen. That's about it. Because .... we have
made our course price a one price fee. No
surprises to you. Lunch, snacks and
bottled water is available to you at no extra cost for you at lake weekend. So, you don't
even have to bring lunch.
Costs you must consider that are not in the course fee
are gas to and from the scuba park, food for breakfast
and dinner since they are on your own, and ,if you stay
in a hotel room over night, cost of hotel or if you
camp, camping fee.
