  • Classroom: Starts on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.

  • Lunch:  Short Lunch Break (on your own, not included in course fee - we can order lunch for delivery)

  • Confined water pool training sessions:  After completion of classroom

• Class Assignment:  Read the entire manual, complete the knowledge reviews located at the end of each chapter and watch the entire video prior to coming to class.

• Equipment:  You will need a mask, fins/booties, snorkel, tank, regulator, bcd, weights and weight belt for the pool training sessions.  Price of course does not cover equipment rental.  Click here for rental rates.

• Lake weekends: Either Saturday, September 24 or Saturday, October 22 at Athens Scuba Park -  We need you for one day at the lake since we are doing all of the rescue skills in the pool.

Cost:  Packaged Deal - Both EFR (includes Care for Children), Rescue and materials for both courses - $360 (does not cover equipment rental).  Need $150 deposit.  If you are currently CPR and/or First Aid certified or already have your materials, not a problem, we will adjust course price accordingly.  The EFR course is designed so that  CPR and First Aid can be taught back to back as one class or can be taught as a stand alone class.  Therefore, you can do both CPR and First Aid back to back or take only the course you need.  You will need to provide us with a copy of your current certification card if you are already CPR and/or First Aid certified.  Price is good if you take the courses on a scheduled class date.  Extra fees will be charged if we do as a private class.

What do you need to Start:  You need to be at least 12 years old and must hold the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification or a have a qualifying certification from another training organization to qualify for the Rescue Diver Certification.
