Deep Diver
Specialty
(a 4 dive specialty)
Counts toward the
Master Scuba Diver
Certification
Prerequisites: To qualify for the Deep Diver
course, an individual must be certified as an Adventure
Diver (or have a rating equivalent to that of an
Advanced Open Water Dive and be at least 15 years of
age).
Why take the Deep Diver Specialty: The
Deep Diver Specialty course offers you the opportunity
of a lifetime - going deep to see thing others can only
dream about. A deep dive is any dive deeper than
60 feet.
What you will do: Read the Deep Diver
Specialty Manual and complete
Knowledge Reviews Part I and Part II.
You'll learn deep dive planning,
organization, procedures, techniques and hazards. You'll
also put this knowledge to the test as you go on four
open water dives that range from 18 - 40 metres / 60 -
130 feet
under the supervision of an instructor.

you have done a deep dive in connection with your
Adventure Diver certification and provide us with a copy
of the Adventure Log page signed by your instructor or
if you have the Advanced Open Water Diver Certification,
you only need to 3 more dives to complete the specialty.
We will subtract $25 from course price.
Materials Needed: Deep Diver Specialty
Manual (included in course price) and Video/DVD
(recommended - $25.00).

- Price includes: Deep Diver Specialty Manual, certification
card, picture for certification card and 4 dives under
instructor supervision. Add the Deep Diver
Video/DVD and log insert for $25.
Independent Study: You will need to read the
entire Deep Diver Specialty Manual and complete Knowledge Reviews
Part I and Part II.
You will need to turn in the knowledge reviews
prior to certification. Recommended: watch
the video/DVD.
