Night Diver Specialty ( a 3 dive specialty)
Counts toward the
Master Scuba Diver
Certification
Prerequisite:
Must be at least 12 years old and certified as a Junior Open Water Diver or an
Open Water Diver.
Why take the Night Diver
Specialty?
When you go night diving you'll see a whole
new world. Even your local dive site takes on a new personality at night, as
many underwater creatures and plant life (different from those you see during
the day) are active at night.
What you will do: Read the Night Diver Specialty manual and
complete Knowledge Reviews Parts I and II. You'll learn
about night dive planning, organization, procedures, techniques and potential
problems. You'll also learn how to control your buoyancy, navigate and
communicate at night. Since many of the plants and animals you'll see are
different, you'll also get an introduction to nocturnal aquatic life. You
will get to use your new knowledge during the 3 dives you do under the
supervision of an instructor.

Materials Needed: Night Diver Specialty Manual (included
in course price). Recommended:
Video/DVD ($23.96).
Cost: $120.00 includes manual,
picture for certification card, certification card and 3
dives under instructor supervision. Add
$23.96 for video/DVD.
If you have done a night dive in connection with your
Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver
certification, provide us with a copy of the Adventure
Log book page signed by your instructor evidencing that
you have turned in the knowledge review and completed
the dive. We will subtract $25 from the cost
of the specialty.
How to get started: Call us at 214-505-0713 or

to sign up for the course.
You
can come pick up the materials or we can have them delivered to your home or
office.
